Hi, I’m Dawn Mancuso, the artist and owner behind A Little Hello Co. I design luxe stationery and products featuring my original, hand-painted watercolor patterns that help you create artful spaces and meaningful connections with yourself and others through writing.

Thoughtful details in everything we create

All of the stationery products in the shop are printed in-house, in small batches, on extra thick papers so your notes and greeting cards always feel extra special. Notes and greetings are scored and folded by hand, and envelope liners are hand-cut, too, for a perfect fit.

Art prints are reproductions of the original watercolor, and printed in-house on acid-free archival papers.

I also source from the best around for stickers that stick (but are easy to remove), pretty mugs that start your day off right, trendy tumblers that keep your drinks hot or cold, notebooks and journals for keeping yourself organized and inspired, and coming soon, planners, calendars, and more!

I spent the pandemic painting

Like so many of us, I lost my corporate job during the pandemic and was looking for a way to stay creative. As a graphic designer, most of my career had been in the digital marketing space, so I wanted to create something with my hands.

I started painting with watercolors every day and without even realizing it, had created coordinating collections of patterns and art that are now on the notecards, greeting cards, and every product you’ll find in the shop.

The name, A Little Hello Co., was also inspired by the pandemic. When we had to social distance and couldn’t visit family in person, I would send text messages saying, “Just a little hello to check in…”

If you love pink, green, and blue, you’ll love…

My art is inspired by my two favorite places in the world: coastal New England and the South. I grew up in both areas, spending just as much time at the beaches in Rhode Island and Massachusetts as I did in Florida, so you’ll find a mix of pretty florals, nods to the sea, and tropical patterns in pinks, greens, and blues.

Whether hydrangeas and lobsters or palm trees and flamingos, every watercolor and illustration is rooted in my love of the ocean and southern hospitality.

If you’re just as obsessed (in the best way) with hydrangeas and pretty florals, magnolias and palm trees, pinks and greens, lobsters and boats and old weathered fishing shacks, sea glass, classic patterns, anything navy blue, you’re in the right place!

Cooking and painting

In addition to being an accomplished artist in the design industry for over 30 years, I’m also an award-winning chef, food writer, and food photographer. Alongside my art, you’ll often see my recipes and food photos on Instagram, and you may have even seen me on Food Network once or twice, too. (Spoiler alert, I won!)

Take a look around. It’s pretty casual around here, with easy-going, happy vibes, and lots of playfully sophisticated, pretty things for you and your home.
