Watercolor Workshop: Fall Forest Scene

Add a little woodland whimsy to your fall painting in our Watercolor Workshop: Fall Forest Scene, featuring colorful washes, loose trees, and a pair of cheerful red mushrooms.

We’ll build our forest using beginner-friendly watercolor techniques for layering washes, blending colors, creating loose tree and foliage shapes, and adding simple details without getting caught up in perfection. Then we’ll paint the mushrooms and explore how highlights, shadows, and color variation can give simple forms dimension.

We’ll create the scene together step by step, experimenting with the wonderfully unpredictable nature of watercolor along the way. You’ll leave with techniques for building layered backgrounds, creating texture, and combining loose washes with more defined focal elements in future paintings.

Cancellation and refund policy

If cancelling more than 14 days before class, a full refund will be provided. If cancelling 14 days or less before class, a store credit will be issued.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class or no-shows will not receive a credit or refund.
In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule a class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
